Yea Distemper can look a lot like Rabies. I got to call the Vet in the morning for my walking buddy. She'd got a sack like growth on her belly toward the rear. Not a solid growth maybe a hernia. But I reckon it needs to be checked.

I've seen it before in female dogs usually harmless.

Yea, but worms can be treated. Distemper can not and is usually fatal. Best thing is to have pets vaccinated and treated for worms.

Our dogs get about as many doctor visits as I do LOL. We get the works on shots including Bordella. Keep heart worm prevention up also..

I took Delta Dog in this afternoon to have the lump checked by the Vet. It's Lipoma he's pretty certain. In other words benign fatty tumor. He just said to let him know if it hardened or started getting a lot bigger. Best outcome I was hoping for.
Her Highness also gets to go on a diet. Hers will be harder to follow than mine because she's going to expect her snacks. She'll get them for a while just lot smaller portions. Maybe me and her can work up to a daily mile walk up at the river starting late next month.
