the wiley carp.
i had an hour or so to wait for Kristin after dropping her off at school. I eased on down to my fishin hole on Melton Hill lake. I was in search or the wiley carp. Armed with my trusty fishin pole and a cup of night crawlers I walked down the path to the lake. I baited up a hook and made my cast to a likely location in anticipation of feeling the tap and pull on my line that would indicate a strike. My wait was not long as I had just enough time to light up a swisher sweet when he struck. The fight was on. Oh he was a powerful prey fighting fiercely. My rod bowed and my line grew tight under his weight. It can most be described as reeling in a water soaked boot or log.Upon landing and releasing this fine fighter I rebaited and made another cast.

You tossed back a perfectly good glow in the dark Carp? I used to know a guy who used French Fries to catch them at a place on Melton Lake Drive. I can't remember which fast food fries it was though.

You need to try to recall that bit of information as it may prove most valuable. The carp is a most wise and wiley prey and may prefer one brand of fry over another.
