I have Firefox 4 and it don't work as well with my laptop, as prior versions did. I use Google, Winders uses to much ram. I have issues with Chrome Google, but it works better with Facebook!!

You might have gotten a corrupted download first time. I read on another site someone had gotten a bad one that day you downloaded and did another download later that worked.

I have Opera as a third back up. I won't download a Google Browser {Chrome} though. They like to share things a little too much.
