I also had IE open but had not gone to any sites. ib called me after his first hit and told me what happened. I opened IE and came back here on FF leaving IE open. I don`t know if it made any difference but it did not happen to me while IE was closed. I am running AVG but not the free version. Hope what ever it is is gone.

Thanks for the links Kevin. I downloaded the malware and ran it. Spybot wouldn`t let me down load as it kept running me in a circle wanting a donation. Malware detected a trojan in my temp files and deleted it. Guys no matter what antivirus and malware or protection your running remember you can get infected or attacked at any time. Don`t rely on just one have a back up. I was running two others and they did not pickup this trojan.

This is just a risk you take on the net. Like Caretaker I used to run AVG but it and Spybot had conflicts with each other. IIRC AVG saw it as a spyware or something like that. Usually Spybot is good about being first to detect. I changed to Avast free for that reason and e-mail protection.
The bad part is you have to put up an alert first when things like this happen as caution is better. That's going to mean some false alarms. It takes time to scan yourown files and then research what you saw. The bug caretaker detected is benign when compared to it's variants with dot letters following it's name.
Google Analytic system is interesting. It searches post and threads for keywords and sends an add it thinks is related to that thread when you load a page. That's likely why only one section seemed to be hit. IOW a sponsor with infected script is my guess.

Malwarebytes has a pay program that does essentially the same thing as Spybot free. Right now all my security programs get along so I'll leave them be :>}

It said it had a conflict, so it will disable McAfee.

Not sure about that. Malwarebytes is likely written different and might not conflict even though it can preform the same functions as Spybot free. Spybot free monitors all the time in the background as I understand it Malwarebytes free is a manual scan only set up. Malware pro-version the one you pay for scans all the time in the background and gives instant protection.
