I'm disabled and a retired Federal Employee after 28years of service. I was President of a Non Profit organization but have served my time and now I am just the Chairman of the Board of Directors meaning I need to go to a meeting every 6 months or so. I am married and have three sons. And I have three grandsons. My wife and I live in Montgomery County, TN.
We love motorcycles too. And we have purchased our first Hybrid Car. A Honda Insight. What great gas mileage much better than the motorcycle. :-)

was up at C.S. bout 2 weeks ago. Saw a spotted fawn about the size of a mature doe 85 to 95 lbs with velvet spikes. Wish I had time to grab my camera. Unfornunately it was in the back seat. Have never seen anything like that before.

I haven't had my motorcycle as long as you Randy. I have only 7,000 miles on mine. We haven't had much chance to ride this summer but we are planning on a trip over to ET sometime in Sept.
I'm getting over 50miles/gal in my Honda Insight. We have about 2000 miles on it. Everyone tells us once we get 5000 we will get many more miles to the gallon. What a fun car to drive!! ;D

Randy, we had pretty well decided after last years high price on gas to go Hybrid the next car. We've had our Honda a little over 2 months. Our Insight is bigger than the Civic. They are both Hybrids. There is an Honda SUV that's a hybrid but the name excapes me but it doesn't get as good gas mileage. You'll just have to go to a dealer and try one on. I suspect the Insight might work well for you. Ours is much bigger than it looks and it's a hatch back. We traded a 4 Runner and with the measurments we pretty well have nearly as much room as the 4 Runner.

Randy my sister is a big woman and she does well in our car. Course she is riding and not driving but I suspect she could drive without any difficulty.
Our family issue has been my sister. She was run down by a pack of dogs and when she landed she had broken her knee cap and twisted it around to the back of her leg taking the tops off the tibia and the fibula. She has had 4 surgeries and is going to have a knee reconstruction after the 1st of the year.
We had to go stay with her for a while as she was alone in her apartment. She was in pins and plates for over 8 weeks. And we took turns staying with her.
It's been a very bad year for her but she is doing so much better and back to work. We hired someone to come in and cook her supper for her and see her to bed each night. She is doing great getting up and out in the mornings.
Anyway, I have changed the subject. Yep go try one on in Paducah.

Sorry to hear bout your sister Jug. Being attacked by a pack of dog can be terrifying. Hope she recovered emotionally. That can take longer than healing physically.Good she has you for support.

Man she had a very bad experience. God blessed her with a caring brother and family. At my size, 345, I would probably have to go into a rehab/nursing facility. My wife only weighs 145, and is 5' 7", there,s no way she could hande me, even though I now have an electric wheelchair that my Insurance got for me. I'll add her to my prayer list jug, praying for great results from the upcoming reconstruction. Randy
