took K to school for her play at 6 and went on down to the fishin hole. The fish jest had lock jaw or have moved to a nuther location. The water was way down. As low as I seen it. Don`t understand that. Threw roostertails for a couple of hours an caught on small largemouth. Guys in boats were throwin severa ldifferent lures from spinners to grubs and cranks. Nuffin doin. Them fish was on strike. I think it`s cause they pulled the lake down so low. It`s a good two feet lower than it was a couple of week ago.

Several reasons. One is maybe to limit Milfoil and another might have been time for a lake bank clean up. Melton Hill pulls down every spring like that I think for both reasons.

A weather front was moving through also. Might be about time for the oxygen turn over too.
