Took k to school and went on down to the fishin hole. Cove was as full as I have ever seen it. Creek was runnin over. Cove was a mess of muddy water. Fished for a hour and half and had one strike on a white rooster tail. Lot of trash in the water too. Got kinda flipped out by a life jacket and shirt floating in the trash. Thought it was a body till i was able to hook it and pull it in.

I looked at the lake level for Norris. 1014.8 now and 1018 by Wednesday morning. That puts it in the trees. 1022 is full pool.

Yea this rain may well do it. But when it hits 1020 it spreads out a lot more too. With all the trash & drift I saw piled up around Back Fox & 25E this spring it's gong to be a rough year on lower housings.

Yep lots of submerged stuff can take one out in a heard beat.
Hey didn`t you loose a prop key one time and use part of a stringer to replace it.

I can remember towing a inboard/outboard from above 19 to the docks with that little green boat Tom had with that little 6 hp. They tore the lower unit out in the channel when the water was low.

Yea I towed a few myself and was towed once. We got out in the middle of Loyston Sea and the motor locked up. Always good idea to have a paddle and red life cushion. They make excellent flags to flag down help.
