I been wondering about that. I saw some guys take ducks there. I have migratory bird permit. Hummmm!!!! Gotta check this out. May have to start takin Betty Lou trout fishin.

I'm not real sure either. I think TWRA maintains the parking area. If so it's likely OK. I would be careful around the Clear Creek area though.

Yea or check the signs there in the parking lot. Of course they may have waded in from the other side of the river also.

Check the signs next time you go fishing. I know the Weir Dam up is TVA property. I'm not sure about anything downstream to where we fish.

I thought TVA property was open to hunt. The river is TVA. Need a lawyer to figure it out.

Most TVA property is unless otherwise posted as best as I understand it.. But up at the upper canoe launch is a sign no firearms allowed IIRC. But that is close to the dam itself. As for Clear Creek I think anything on the right hand side of the freeway going north past Island Ford Church is Clear Creek reservation. The left side is likely TVA and TWRA jurisdiction.
