It doesn't surprise me they would. You just don't find too many of them any more.. I know if you want to find Tree Rats find a Mulberry Tree.

I wasn`t hunting deer. I was out treerat hunting. I never told where the deer were to anyone because they were on my grandparents farm. I was around 16 years old at the time. I was hoping they would multiply but they didn`t. There were just two doe and a fawn.

They're likely all over that area now though.

They're in Sharps Chapel so they're there also.

That property was sold and has been more or less left alone for years. No telling what`s there.

I don`t know. My cousin sold the property a few years ago. New owner tore down old house and put up large fence and gate at drive way. Place looks over grown.

The valley on the other side of the ridge behind it is being developed like mad..

The other property up the road toward Maynardville is pretty much like it was. Although someone has built a house in the upper field where I had once thought about building.

Yea I remember that place too.. We hunted in there a few times. My roof sounds like a war zone right now. Acorns falling like crazy.

At least there is food for the critters right now. Deer, turkey and other. I get concerned when the acorns don`t produce.

They can survive it if the other stuff don't fail also. But a failure once a deer generation helps out the weaker ones I guess.
