Yea it's a good way to get some kids in some experience. Not that many people keep hunting dogs anymore either.

BTW I saw an Owl when I was pulling out of the driveway this morning. Big old thing. LOL Them and hawks stay around the spring branch. I was looking straight at him. I saw him fly in and land on a branch between me and a tree. When he hid his face you wouldn't even know he was there.

Was settin on dads patio and watching doves and other birds at Andy`s feeder. The birds took off and a hawk landed. About the time he landed Luna the cat launched his attack. Cat and hawk both changed direction within an inch of a collision. Don`t know which was more startled.

I see Hawks down where the owl was several times a month. I imagine between a cat and a hawk it would be a tie if the cat has it's claws.
