I mean you have to stand on the very edge of the rock so you have a good view.

OK then. How about you being the official look out up on Sharps Ridge then? Did that when I was a kid. Use to hike up to the fire tower and set at the top of the stairs.

That was Pappy's hunting ground when he was a kid. That was before the towers were put up.

Yea at one time only thing up there was the fire tower.

It wasn't even there when he was hunting it. No roads were there from either side. He'd walk from either Lincoln Park or Lonsdale depending on where they lived then up the ridge with a rifle. If a kid walked through there now with a rifle a SWAT Team would show up.
