I went fishing this week and I didn't catch a Bass. I did catch two Drum with the largest being 15 pounds and both hit crankbaits. They are a trash fish but they sure do put up a heck of a fight. I hope to start hitting the lake Dardanelle and Adkins lake on a regular basis as this is the time of year that is the best fishing of the season.

If they ever shut the dam off we have pretty good trout fishing. The lakes are hit and miss. Norris has the best secluded shorelines but some of the worse fishing as far as bass go. The upper tributary lakes are still filling up though.

Got my dad to go fishing with me for a couple of hours the other day. We went to Melton Hill and fish from the bank. We used roostertails and got one a piece.

Those are glow in the dark fish down there LOL. Really Melton Hill is better than Norris as far as catching fish. I haven't fished it in years..

I went up there three times this week walking. Every time the river was running full blast. The fishing platforms were even under water.
