Man that is tragic. I am thankful the upper portions were not affected and that the rain fall diluted the effect. Still it will be years or more before the streams are restored. I wonder how it will affect Douglas and Cherokee lakes.

IIRC and I might be wrong Little Pigeon goes in the French Broad below Douglas near Kodak. It can't effect Cherokee but could I guess effect Ft Nasty but they believe it will be too diluted by then.

Ok, I wasn`t sure where it hit the French Broad river. Hopefully it will not have an impact on Ft. Nasty. Ft. Nasty has had a hard uphill battle and is just now getting some what clean.

Yea it runs in just below the 66 bridge maybe a mile or so downstream from the bridge. They say by the time it hits the river it will be OK. The more rain the quicker it recovers though.

Yea it's started here too. No tornado in the area just a watch. Looks like a typical spring storm.
