I went on a 140 mile motorcycle ride yeserday and as I got close to home the bike started bucking and the FI light on the speedo would go red so I thought I had a fuel injection problem. So I put some injector cleaner in it and ran it about 15 miles this morning and it still was bucking.
Then I thought about it for awhile and said I didn't have this problem before I installed a new battery a week ago. So I pulled the seats off and checked the battery connections and you guessed it the positive post was loose. But it was loose in a non conventional way. The screw was as tight as could be but the wires were flopping around on the post. So took the screw out and put a washed on it and re-tightened it and they they were rock solid.
I'm glad I got it fixed because I am supposed to go on a poker run on Staurday and I was afraid I would have to cancel.

It will do a car the same way.. But a motorcycle doesn't have the generating power a car has.
