Yep, the amount of rain has had an impact all across the state. I`m wondering what effect it will have on wild life such as turkey and other nesting birds that may loose their nest to flooding. Also how will it affect the spawn and hatching of different fish. Also as the article stated how will it affect /misplace other animals.

Around here probably not too much. Toward the west like west of Nashville? Likely a whole lot. It could possibly help the spawn in upstream trib lakes as long as the actual current flow and winds didn't get real bad. My guess is in some areas hail likely killed more wildlife than anything.

One thing about critters. Unlike humans they accept what ever the weather brings. Be it snow, rain,or sun they accept it and survive.

I doubt that will happen except with the trout which is kept going mainly by restocking program. I don't think in the TVA rivers there is that much natural spawn. Some but not all the wildlife has increased due natural migration and less hunting which is causing population issues. Big Game hunting has taken back seat to Bass tournaments as far as lot a lot of persons involved in hunting & fishing are doing. But there does have to be some regulation and control of who can do what and when..

Hopefully things will get back on an even base and the lake levels and river levels will return to normal. i would like to be able to fish the Clinch for some trout if they ain`t all been washed away.
