The only really bad paint on the trike was the square running lights with yellow lens on the front of the trike as it was peeling badly. So I replaced them with a set of Chrome Bullet style Cobra running lights that I like much better. So what do you think? Before After

Well I got the Goldwing Trike finally fully restored and in peak mechanical condition and at that point I had $3400 in the Trike and matching Trailer. The last thing I did was put new light bars in the Trike 's trunk as one light bar had faded to white and the other was cracked. I had this done at Horizon Trike and while I was there the manager came up and offered me $10,000 for it so after thinking about it over the weekend I sold it to him.
My main reason I sold it was I couldn't stand seeing my Bass Boat sitting outside in the blazing sun all day and I also like the VTX trike better anyway. The $6400 in profit for 7 weeks worth of tinkering on the Goldwing didn't hurt either. I also put 1,000 miles on it while I owned it.
Now my Bass boat is back in the garage and out of the sun that can tend to age one really quickly.

I missed a good Goldwing the other day. I called and told the guy I would be there in the morning to look at it and he said ok that no one else had even called in the 2 weeks he had advertised. I work with his neighbor and he said he was ADHD about this bike and it's maintenance.
I took the wife to breakfast and stopped by the bank and picked up the cash and he had sold it 20 min before I got there. I miss all the good deals.
