That was a sobering look at a slobbering movie, Turner and Hooch, that is. This is not your room. This is not your room. This is your room. I used to have a big bones Lab named Lurch. He was a big baby but very intimidating. A great watch dog with no liability risk. One night our phone line messed up and it was popping. The popping by chance made it call 911. They sent an officer out and we didn't even know our phone was out. They sent the K-9. The deputy and I had to shout to each other over our dogs barking.

Ol Hooch made it his room didn't he!! lol There's a gret big big headed Lab across the road behind the house with the pitbull, I expect a bullet to fly over there if the dog kills the lab.

I suppose any dog can be made to be mean but Labs will usually only hurt you due to their playing. They can get pretty hyper sometimes. Funniest thing I ever saw in my life was I dropped a pill bottle of Xanax and Lurch ate about 30 or more of them before I realized they were missing. Didn't even slow him down. He came running down the ridge toward my dad and knocked him a winding. My now ex-son in law worked for aa Vet and called him. The vet laughed and said he'll be OK just watch him a while.

thats the only reason I don't have a lab, is because of little grandkids are more scared of them than my old Chihauhau

To small kids they would be. By the time I was about 7 or 8 we had one that could get kinda over playful. Knocked me down all the time. He was also a collector. Between him and a little Boston Terrier a guy up the road had we had to hide all our basketballs etc. The Boston Terrier was never sen without a ball in his face. He pushed one everywhere he went. Just for kicks we'd put his ball just out of reach in a tree and watch him go nuts trying to get it down. If you tried to kick it he'd jump up and block.

That would be a lot of fun with that dog. My grandkids are 9 mo old boy. almost 3 yr old girl, 3 1/2 year old boy, and a 8 3/4 yr old boy, the little girl is bashful, and scared of any bigger dog, My 3 yr old GS would ride a lab if it stood still long enough. The 8 year old loves all dogs now!!
