Or the real big orange Florida. JK
I always kidded the guys at the Goodyear plant which is in Union City Tn, and I am a ky transplant. I never had a great Wildcat football team, that I've seen yet. we did great in a few 1st half's to only fall apart in the last half. I was born in Missouri, lived there till 12, and moved to Arkansas at 12 to Little Rock, and saw A Razorback game, playing the Longhorns of Texas from a tall bluff about a 1/4 mile from the U Ark. LR Ark Stadium, where they played 2 games a year back then. All I could hear and it was deafening where we was was Whoooo Piggg Souieee Razorbacks, and a slightly quieter but not much Hook em' Horns. My Uncle Terry, My moms youngest brother, couldn't find work, so he'd come from Braggadocio Mo, to live with us and work for my dad at a box and crate factory. He took us to places we would have never seen in Little Rock. We then moved a couple of years later when I was 16 to UC Tenn when My dad went to wk for Goodyear, as a maint. mech. and we live there 3 days, bad house, like to froze to death, then moved to Fulton Ky. for 5 months, and dad then bought a house when I was 18 in So Fulton Tn., Then when I was 20 and still at home and Dad Sold house, and Bought a farm outside Fulton Ky and never moved again till they carried him in the hearse to a Grave overlooking his farm on a high hill about a 1'4 mile from the farm, soon to be 4 yrs ago in Jan. He Died an avid Sports fan, and was a Ky wildcat fan, in Basketball and a vols fan in football, and a Stlouis Cards fan since he was old enough to hear a radio at his dads home.
He found out in the last year of his life that he could watch a game, but when his family was there he could leave the game and love his family. I hope to be able to live long enought to see my Grandsons and Granddaughter play any sport they choose. My 8 yr old plays Baseball, and soccer, and has started in a school system that has Football, and he's going to be a big teen, and he want to start playing Pee wee or whatever they play at 8. He's in Boy Scouts, and also taking Karate 2 times a week and is getting ready for his 1st belt soon. I said a mouthful. I'll shut up now.
