Was all this going on at one place Kevin, That's some great pics. I'd like to have the chance to shoot an AR and M16. I'm a poor boy though!

Was you able to tell the WC trapshooters about the forum. We need to make up a card and post it where it can be copied and handed out with our web address on it at events in our areas where we live.

This was all at one place it is huge they have (3) 100 yard covered shoot ranges with about 30 lanes each with a table for each lane
those are in the middle then to the east is the trap area with 6 station setups like shown in the pictures
Then further east on the other side of a pond is a bow range with 3d targets
to the west of the 3 covered ranges is a covered 20 lane range for 5 to 25 yards and west of that is another pond and then the cowboy town is built

I wish we had a shooting range around here, we have one at goodyear, but you can't be a member if you was disabled at the plant. Don't want you on plant property I believe!!

No Goodyear is a razor wired fenced in factory, I felt like I was in prison for years. lol The Shooting range, Golf course, Fishing Lake, Park, is all on adjacent properties, or across the road.

Looks like a fun day. The guards when I was in had some fun times along with the work. Our Duce and Half broke down at camp and they sent out a Gama Goat to replace it. The last night in the field me and a buddy went joy riding in the swamps. As I understand it if you're riding up front they are fine. If your in back you better hold on tight. They bucked like a donkey.
Shooting M-16's is fun. The next part is the time consumer. They take them back and get cleaned then likely cleaned again by somebody on a make up day. If I understand it right you loose an M-16 bolt to that M-16 and it's useless. I was told they were each individually machined for that weapon. A bolt from one would not likely fire in another or even fit. They are serialized to the weapon. You signed out the weapon and the bolt.
