...to be out enjoying God's creation. I'm hunting next to a river so it can be foggy sometimes; like this morning. 6-8 hens came in for a visit. stayed about 20 yards out pecking around before wandering on through the woods. No deer sightings, but I had a good time. Had to leave about 9:15 to get home and get ready for Church. I didn't think about the fall turkey season. Could have taken one of the larger hens. oh well..

Yea, sure sounds like a beautiful morning. I sure do love to watch the wildlife even if its just birds and chipmunks. Hope all of us can enjoy many more of those mornings.

Amen to that. something about the woods and being smack in the middle of it as she comes to life......... makes a man truly thankful for what he has. thank you for sharing and best of luck to you this season.

Carl, sorry to be late replying to this post, but this is the 1st time I saw it. Glad you had a great time out. I too think a lot about God when I'm out in His creation, and sometimes pray a lot, with my eyes open though!! Good luck on the ML season, and upcoming rifle season. Randy
