My blind my cousins built for me 2008 season. And picture that I own part of, and hunted from last year. Most of the lumber came from mobile homes that my cousin tore down. That is mobile home trusses from a 14' wide trailer that he saved, and we adapted for the top blind. Randy I also hunt from my Cousin Dewayne's mobile blind.

Build one yourself Robert. My son is starting one out here in my backyard, I'm going to supervise. It will be an elevated stand. I'm going to get a lot of the lumber I don't have from my cousin, and use the trusses from a single wide mobile home as the roof trusses. Randy

You have some good looking shooting houses. I've a friend who has been promising to help me with building a shooting house about 5-6' off the ground, but he's dragging on it.

Carl As long as I have a handrails I can get uo in the 8' tall off the ground. How would you in a wheelchair get into an off the ground blind. I want to make my ground blind into a sky blind, and I'll have to have a really good sturdy set of steps, at least 2"x8", with sturdy rails so I can help to get myself in the blind. Randy
