I have received my newest issue of Tennessee Wildlife. It tells about applying for Spring Turkey Quota Hunts. Apparently applications will accepted online only. no mail in applications will be accepted.Applications will be taken Dec16,2009 thru Feb10,2009. at www.tnwildlife.org. This does not affect 2010 WMA Non Quota hunts where no application is needed. State wide turkey season April 3-May16.

Quota non WMA doesn't make much sense. Especially around here. Plenty of turkeys. About like finding tree rats.

That's the truth. I've seen as many as 50 or more in peoples front yards next valley north of me though.
