TWRA Requests Public Input for 2011 Sport Fishing Regulations NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is soliciting comments for its 2011 sport fishing regulations. This is an opportunity for the public to share ideas and concerns about fishing regulations with TWRA staff. Public comments will be considered by fisheries managers and may be presented as proposals for regulation changes. Comments may be submitted by mail to: Sport Fish Comments, TWRA, Fisheries Management Division, P.O. 40747, Nashville, TN 37204 or emailed to TWRA.Comment@tn.gov. Please include “Sport Fish Comments” on the subject line of emailed submissions. This comment period concerning sport fish regulations will be open until May 7 2010.

Only thing I can say is simplify them back to where they once were. Used to fishing regs was printed on a fold up brochure. The only main fishing complication was Trout fishing in the Tellico mountain area. Right now a person about has to be a Marine Biologist and lawyer.

I will need to think about it. For the most part I`m happy with what is being done. My main concern is knowing slot limits and identifying unfamiliar species. Brochures with more than one colored pic of different fish species hybrid crosses etc. would be nice. I sometimes have trouble identifying some fish that I catch.
