Fox might carry it but they aren't good on after hour news anymore. CNN is probably your best bet. Looks like this one is gonna go up tonight. About 11:59 pm I think.

You guys down in the Kentucky and Tennessee areas seem to have the sights, the sounds and the spirits most of us could only dream of. Not to mention, the abundance of wildlife right at your doorsteps.
It was sharp reading your thread.
Most of all, "Hello."

Hi Crippleshot. The wildlife around me just happened over time. I've lived in this neighborhood over 45 years. Up till about 10 years ago I never saw the first deer on my place. All the sudden Turkeys then deer came in. I think some of it was released in here because the game officer was around a lot for a while after that.. But now I've seen deer inside the Knoxville city limits browsing behind some motel property along the interstate.
I have to kinda watching pulling out of my driveway. I've about gotten several roadkill deer. The other night I saw something I hadn't seen in years and that was a grey Fox. I was letting the dogs out for a few minutes and caught one in my flashlight. This evening I heard it bark.

Our turkey population is starting to grow around me. We have some wildlife management that seeded Fulton County, and we're now seeing them on the very back of the poprety behind us. My son saw 4 turkeys last year, and saw them again this year. I'm going to plant some tuberous plants in preparation for them getting to our property. We're planting our fooplots next week, mostly in prep. for ML and rifle season. We have quite a few deer in Fulton, Hickman, and Graves Counties where I hunt.

I may put out a feeder. Robert was supposed to get us some big old trashcans to make gravity feeders with.

I let my place grow up so game will move in. It was an old farm when I got it with a house or cabin about like the one on Green Acres. I lived in it a few years. About 7 years ago TVA ran a transmission line behind me. Most the persons along the route just added it to their cattle fields. I had them plant my ine in wildlife cover then got a small herd of Nubians to keep them from coming back and having to spray it. Behind me and in front of me is good game cover. The only unwelcome critter is the kind that slithers across the ground and has fangs. Hate those things and one about got me right outside my house.

My father in law is 80 yrs old, and has stage3 alzheimers disease, and has quit running cattle, and all we have is one American Standard Bred horse to pull my pop in laws horse buggies. The place has growed up a lot this year, and he's letting me and my son plant food plots for the wildlife. We have Quail for the 1st time I've ever seen in my 32 years here! When my wife inherits her part of this place, It will be put back into woods and have the back pond dredged, to make it deeper, for the wildlife. I hope he lives a long life, but I hate to see him go like this. My Grandma died with alzeheimers.

Alzeheimers is a cruel disease that's for sure. I saw people in their early 50's in stage 3 and beyond where I worked at.

It's good to hear the wildlife is on the rise near you, but really I pictured the wildlife was all over down there.
