I wish those turkey's in the back farm behind me, that we hunt on the front 40 acres of, would find there way to the food plots. If someone don't massacre them sooner or later they'll find us.

That ought to work. I've been listening for them up behind me. But they may be up on top of the ridge. Lot of food for them.

They have not been introduced to our area but maybe 5 years, but they're are all over the heavy woods and the bottoms in our county.

I hear them every once in a while when I'm outside. I guess they showed up here about 10 years ago.

The deer and turkey will find the food plots. just be patient. Critters go where the forage is and where there is avaliable cover. deer and elk will travel expecially if they are forced out by dominant bucks and alpha doe. this is natures way of cutting out inbreeding and over populating an area

I went to my cousin Ricky's today and watched my cousin Dewayne, and Ricky's boy Chris set up a new 6' tall elevated blind. the blind was a 6'x6' box blind. it was a nice piece of work!! He set it up in 5 acres of woods that had been logged back several years ago. He had active salt, and mineral block licks all around where he set up his blind. He's going to help Dewayne build me a truss mount, to put my blind up in the air 8' with a heavy duty steps and hand rails. I can't wait to get it elevated. Until then I'll be doing my best to get the job done with hopefully a nice buck to show for it. I'll take a nice doe or two also!!
