You guys are too much. ....Thanks Randy we feel very lucky to have found this spot. The lake itself has 123 miles of shoreline,we are actually on whats called the {South Still waters}and plan to be offering some fishing trips in the spring along with just renting the camp out to folks who might want to get away from it all.The camp is for sure a labor of love cause it's gonna take alot of time and effort to bring it up to what I'd like it to be but God willing and the creeks don't rise with alittle time I'll get it right. Once the season rolled around we had 6 hunters in camp for the first week.We had to hunt em hard that week but managed but the end of it to be able to send all 6 hunters home with bears. This is George from {Pa}...he was on his second hunt with us and on his first night in stand saw 11 different bears,8 at the same time on the bait.He was alittle nervous when it got dark and the bears wouldn't move off.I had to go in and fetch him down outta his stand. He had bears at the base of his tree, bears looking at him, bears that would leave when he made noise. He experienced something that night that most hunters never get to see.He tagged out on his 3rd night in stand. This is John,Georges brother and also on his second hunt with us.John tagged out his very first night in stand.Made and excellent shot and recovery on his bear was within sight of his stand. This is Tony,Tony was on his fisrtever bear hunt. And on his first night out he got alittle nervous an hour before dark and came out to the road called me to come pick him up..lol we had alittle talk and on his second night I told him to stay in stand until I returned at dark to get him.He didn't have to wait for me to come pick him up at dark. His bear came in for him well before dark and he held it together and got his first bear under his belt. This is Nick {Tonys father} who was also on his first ever bear hunt.Tony hunted hard and passed a very good bear on his first night on stand, then had to hunt the remainder of the week before on his last day, last hour of his hunt tagged out and was a very happy hunter.I was sitting in my truck 2 miles away and heard him shoot,I don't think the bullet had hit the bear yet when my cell phone started ringing. He yelled come get me I got him. This is Frank a retired school teacher,Frank was our senior hunter that week and enjoyed [teasing} his fellow hunters/friends after he was first to tag out on a bear that week.Dropped his bear IN the barrel with a head shot. as you can see all happy hunters. The guide however looks a little drug out and was needing a hot shower and shave

That looks like some nice kills. Most of our bear stay up in the mountains and national forest except a few who decide to migrate from the Appalachians across the valley to the Cumberland mountains. {about 50-75 miles over land} Those that do usual cause quite a disturbance LOL.

This is Jeff,he's beening up from PA 3 years running and has managed to take a bruin home with him each trip. He's starting to like it here. This is Les,who was on his first ever bear hunt and manged to tag out on a brown colored bear, only the 3rd one ever recorded in NS.I'm proud to say we've killed two outta the three. This is Joe,came to us all the way from Wyoming and was tagged out within 2 days, got his firstever bruin with a bow.

Yes Caretaker he was a 10 pointer,we tagged him 3 days before the season ended.Came in on a hunter whom, I'm sorry to say made a bad shot on him and the next morning I had to chase him down and finish him off{the hunter had broken one back leg}Luckily we where able to hunt him down next morning.Buck fever is what happened. Also the small 7 pointer in the last picture was harvested on the 4 th day of the season. He was extra fat and tasty. The trail camera took my picture 8 minutes aftre this nice 8 pointer. couple more of the ten pointer. A friend of mine wanted meat for winter for his kids so he tagged this young buck on the second morning I put him on stand'
