I would rather have a clean miss than a wounded animal of any kind. I can blood trail and track fairly good but I prefer not to. I know many who make me look like a snot nosed kid when it comes to trailing and tracking.

Last year I though I had a hit. The deer at first even acted like it. No blood trail though. The ground had been too disturbed by Turkeys to tell if a deer had been hit or not.
